Priscilla and Nathanel, a Paris-based couple opted for a Jewish Wedding in Rome at the Great Synagogue for the religious celebration and at the luxury Villa Aurelia for the reception.
If almost once in your career you have the chance to be selected as official wedding Photographer in Rome for a Jewish marriage, you are surely in the midst of an exciting and most of the times very touching experience
.
A white Beetle picked Prescilla up from the Boutique Hotel HT6 where she got ready before heading to the ceremony. The glamorous but still natural bride style was completed by a semi-updo , a Jimmy Choo sparkly shoes and a ultra-romantic Jenny Packham long sleeve dress with a mix of lace , chiffon and crystals .The already beautiful Tempio Maggiore, that is located in Roman Ghetto the main heart of Rome, was adorned with luxe florals in a soft classic pink and white color scheme. The religious ceremony was celebrated according to the Semitic tradition.
Prescilla and Nathanael were accompanied outside the Great Synagogue of Rome by the sound of violin, filling the street with a delicate atmosphere. Amongst their guests, Bride and Groom glanced at each other like they first did when they were just friends before falling in love.
Hand in hand they reached the vintage Beetle that took them to some of the best places in Rome for a wedding photoshoot: Portico D’Ottavia, Trastevere and Tiberina island and finally Fontanone dell’Acqua Paola where bride and groom relaxed with a wonderful Rome view before reaching Villa Aurelia.
This XVII century Villa, throughout decorated with frescos and golden details, is situated on a dominating position and according to brides review is one of the best wedding venue overlooking Rome.
The weather was on the newlywed’s side so Prescilla and Nathanael kept their plan and the outdoor reception in the beautiful gardens of Villa Aurelia went on until late. According to tradition the microphone was passed around the stage, friends and family gave touching speeches describing the newlyweds with the sweetest words.
Usually Hebrew Weddings are remembered for the lively and upbeat rhythm that plays a strong role in the festive celebration and having a cool Music playlist it is absolutely a MUST BE . Thanks to the precious mix and edit of the well know Italian Jewish band owned by Benny Fadlun the dance floor, especially during “The Hora“ and the “Gladdening of the bride” dance, was filled with guests and a very special dancing couple: Prescilla and Nathanael!
