Villa “I Cappuccini”, a historic private residence in the Tuscany lands of the wine: Montalcino Val D’Orcia .

The wedding in Montalcino between Gizem and Edoardo, which took place in the picturesque Villa ” I Cappuccini” , was one of subtle elegance and simplistic beauty. One to be remembered for its attractive environment, upbeat guests and the bride’s angelic dress! Villa “I Cappuccini” in Montalcino had a beautifully crafted stone structure with iconic grilled windows, it was a Capuchin Convent from 15th to 18 th century and since few years has been renovated in respect of the place. Villa “I Cappuccini” is situated in of one Tuscany well known lands of the wine Val D’Orcia,  where Montalcino is the main village. Together with the lush, dreamy tree cover and rugged level grass, the environment gave the wedding a medieval but royal wedding feel. Friends contributed to the royal ambiance with the gentlemen dressing in darker shades of black and blue with minimal detailing to their well-fitted suits. Ladies on the other hand dressed in lighter accents of pink and grey, with the bride being dressed in white.

Gizem the Fashion Designer

The two lovebirds getting married in Montalcino were an epic duo of design prowess. The bride, Gizem was dressed in a long contoured and beautifully crafted wedding dress – low cut chest, thin straps and a slim waist complemented her figure and drew attention to her radiant face. And the best part, it was all designed by her! The addition of a garland and an airy umbrella made gave the bride a slight touch of sophistication that could not go unnoticed. Gizem is an ex-model, a fashion designer and consultant, program producer and presenter from Smyrna. It’s therefore not hard to see why such a powerful woman would decide to express herself through her dress on her biggest day. Edoardo, on the other hand, was dressed in a well-cut summer suit in navy together with a crisp white shirt. The addition of a set of cufflinks and going sockless turned his minimalist look to one of class and confidence. Confidence is clearly seen in the groom’s expression through the photos as he laughs, walks and holds his bride. The couple’s creative dressing made the event uniquely attractive.

Edoardo the founder of ACBC

Edoardo is the founder of  ACBC, an innovative shoe concept which separates the sole with interchangeable skins to fit different occasions in everyday life – from cycling to work and changing skins before a business meeting or even an afternoon stroll in the park. Soles come in three varieties – Urban, Running and Drive. Skins come in many varieties including Corsa (for running), Duilio (the wingtip), Mocassino (the slip-on) and Stringa (the lace-up).

The company has a unique approach to solving the common problems of:

  1. Shoe Customizability
  2. Saving Space (at home or while travelling)
  3. Detail of construction – ACBC is made of waterproof zippers, anti-shock foam insoles, in seamed zip protection, super-flex sole, Italian leather and bio cotton.
  4. Waste reduction – one sole can serve numerous skins.

After buying a sole of choice, customers can buy skins at half the price of an average shoe!

The wedding in Montalcino ended with a beautiful sunset and a warm evening party full of laughter dance and celebration for the newlyweds.
