“Positive thoughts generate positive feelings and attract positive life experience”
Florence 7:00 am.
We came from three days sleepless busy in three wedding photo reportage in different parts of Italy, two in the south and one Elopement in Portovenere . We reached Florence during the night. A long way to find an accommodation for the night, all the hotels were completely full! But… here we are at 7 am with a beautiful smile, energy and our strong passion to photograph the wedding in Vincigliata Castle.
We did need to buy two very big umbrella because we did not expect that so much rain could fall on the ground. We drove in the middle of the wild Tuscany countryside and our dear Toyota became an off road vehicle for a while.
Keep calm and think positive.
We know from the first mail that the wedding of Sam and Richard would have been an unforgettable photoreportage in Tuscany. As we already knew we reach a paradise: the Fattoria di Petroio, an ancient villa dates back to the twelfth century sitting in the middle of a magnificent countryside with olive oils tree, vineyards and wild forest. Waiting for us was a sunny couple coming from Australia with their families and friends. We have never seen such a beautiful location. During getting ready the light was simply perfect. The wide spaces of the villa and the surrounding area with a private borgo make everything more special.
After it we reach the incredible Vincigliata castle that overlooks Florence from above.
The civil ceremony takes part inside the bright foyer cause the uncertain weather. Thanks to the soft touch of the outdoor light, the bridesmaids deep blue dress, the funny sox of the guest we could breath a scenographic atmosphere.
After the ceremony we used every glimpse of great light to make some candid pictures using the great landscape that Castle offers.
The party goes on until night where from the platform you could see the city of Florence lighten up.
We look for the next wedding photo reportage in Tuscany countryside that as always is a great experience!
Thank you Sam and Richard, you are amazing!
